Want to help one of Newbury's most historic charities?
“I love being involved with an organisation that has such a long history in Newbury and is doing so much to support the local community”
Steve Marwick, Newbury Almshouse Trust Volunteer
Newbury Almshouse Trust are seeking committed and experienced people to join our supportive and friendly trustees. These vital, unpaid roles are ideal for people who are passionate about making a real difference to the lives of the almshouse residents and one of the most historic charities in Newbury.
Our Trustees come from varied backgrounds, with commitment varying from offering consultancy or advice at a high level, to more hands-on day-to-day tasks. This could include resident liaison, property maintenance, legal advice, and much more. It’s a great way to give back to your community.
“By volunteering, I’m able to make such a difference to residents’ lives as well as supporting a charity that is such an important part of Newbury’s history.”
Jenni Collins, Newbury Almshouse Trust Volunteer
